Studio Ghibli (Part 3)

This is the fifth Studio Ghibli movie that I’ve watched.

Lets just say that Studio Ghibli played a really mean trick on me. I mean, you need to have tragedy in life, but this much?!

Goodness, I couldn’t digest it much.

After watching four movies that ended happily (forced or not), this started out tragically. But I womaned up and watched the entire film.

I love wartime stories, but dislike it all the same. I love to hear it from a book, or maybe a person but a film like this is just… sad. I might’ve cried buckets but somehow, I didn’t. My iron heart didn’t melt with the tiny fire in the fireflies.
