Today is February 29th, the Leap Day. It comes once in four years and even though I have no clue how that works, I think it’s the first time that I’ve actually noticed how the day went by.
All of morning was just plain and boring. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that it was longer than the longest day of the year. It felt like there were 10 extra seconds for every minute. It just dragged, dragged, dragged.
The best part was the late afternoon. I spent so much time with my friends doing nothing that it actually felt like an accomplishment. We found a table in the dingy canteen and ate bhel puri and ice cream and planned for a few things and then talked about life.
It was a wonderful day.
