This is not my Bengaluru

In two days:

25,000 Crore Rs, loss for the whole state.

Hundreds of Buses and lorries and trucks burnt.

Two lives lost.

Hundreds hurt.

Police overworked.

All this fight over what? Something that NEVER belonged to us: WATER.

I am depressed. So depressed that all the life has been suck out of me and it’s all I can do to still function and not curl into a ball and weep.

I never, ever imagined I would see my city in this condition. The chaos when there was a sudden bandh declared on Monday scared me so much that at a point, I wanted to laugh maniacally.

Ugh.

My tear glands are as dry as Kaveri is.

  2. I was feeling same thing that was a huge loss..Bengaluru being my home town I’m happy for only reason it’s home for research and technology… Nevertheless it’s going exponential…towards pollution, high traffic with some destructions….With this some issues like this.. But this can’t be stopped by anyone until they realise themselves… atleast public transport shouldn’t be damaged…
You have written the overall picture…Exactly let’s someone by reading them should get change…
